FAQs

What sets your office apart from other dental offices?

We invite you to come in and see. From the moment you pick up the phone to make the call, you will see! You are treated with the kindness and the respect you deserve! So often these days, we dread making these calls as we are put on hold for extended periods of time and rushed off the phone. We believe in giving our patients the time they deserve and in treating people the way we would like to be treated, whether it be a new patient or an existing patient. That's why so many of our patients have been with us for years.

Combine this with our professionalism, knowledge and the latest technology, we make a great team!

How can I improve my smile?

  • Invisalign braces
  • Dentist teeth whitening
  • Bonding
  • Dental porcelain veneers (Lumineers)
  • Porcelain dental crowns

We have the capability to improve your smile by using some of the procedures listed above. Scheduling a consultation will allow us to determine your specific needs and address your concerns.

What is a dental implant?

Dental implants are the standard of care for tooth replacement. They are bonded with the bone to provide permanent support for dental crowns and dentures.

What are the benefits of dental implants?

  • Dental implants look and function like your natural tooth.
  • Dental implants are a permanent solution for missing teeth.
  • Dental implants are maintained by routine hygiene visits to your dental office.
  • Dental implants decrease the possibility of bone loss, periodontal disease, tooth movement and further tooth loss.
  • Dental implants replace the need for a removable full denture or partial denture.
  • Dental implants focus only on the tooth or teeth that are missing. A traditional bridge would involve the two or more adjacent teeth being compromised to create a false tooth in between.

When my tooth breaks, why do I usually require a dental crown to be placed ?
After a tooth breaks, it usually becomes weaker. Chewing, clenching and other forces can cause further damage to occur. By placing a dental crown on the damaged tooth, you eliminate those forces and thus preserve the viability of the tooth.

Why should I replace a tooth after it is extracted?

After a tooth is lost, it is necessary to replace it because drifting of all adjacent teeth can occur, which can result in periodontal problems as well as tooth decay.

What are some of the newest technologies available in dentistry today?

There have been many advances made in dentistry in the past few years. Some of them include CEREC, a single-visit crown making system in the office; Invisalign orthodontic treatment with computer technology; and CT scan/cone beam X-ray, a scan of your head, teeth, jaws and sinuses to allow diagnosis in 3-D.
